Protest, march against continued use of Flock license plate-reading cameras and ICE crackdown to be held on Jan. 31, 2026

FLAGSTAFF — A protest march against continued use of Flock license plate-reading cameras and the ongoing ICE crackdown nationwide will be held on Jan. 31, 2026. Organizers said the cameras could be used by ICE as part of its efforts to curtail protests.

The march is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at Humphrey Street and Cherry Avenue and continue to the Flagstaff City Hall.

In a Facebook post on IndivisibleNAZ, “City Hall has not removed the Flock Cameras from the city after voting unanimously to do so. With ICE ramping up its actions in Arizona, and a man getting shot, these Camera’s will be a liability.

“We will start at one of the operational cameras, march to City Hall, and demand its immediate removal. As well as protest ICE’s criminal actions and give them less tools to use on the community.”

Be there on January 31st at 2pm
