City of Flagstaff’s Indigenous Commission to present ‘Indigenous Code Talkers Celebration’ on Aug. 11

FLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff’s Indigenous Commission will present an “Indigenous Code Talkers Celebration” from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at the Market of Dreams, 2136 N. Fourth St., Flagstaff.

The event is open to the public. More details to come.

— The Indigenous Commission meets on the1st Thursday of every month at 11:00 a.m. on Microsoft Teams. The Indigenous Commission serves as an advisory board to City Council, makes recommendations with respect to certain policies, needs, issues, and methods in promoting the Strategic Plan and Recommendations accepted by City Council and furnishes the City Council with information through the Indigenous Affairs Administrator.
