America Immigration Council — This Week in Immigration: The ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ Is Ugly for Tax-Paying Immigrant

I Just Finished a Life-Changing Semester Abroad. But Thanks to Trump’s Policies, I’m Afraid Other Students Won’t Have the Same Opportunity.  After a bittersweet goodbye, I returned to the U.S. in May. Yet while I still was ecstatic over the life-changing experience I had just concluded abroad, the Trump administration was increasing its efforts to target international students wanting to study in the U.S. International students are now increasingly prevented from having the same educational and personal opportunities that I, a U.S. citizen, had just been able to access.

LULAC — Urgent ••• Stand Up for Immigrant Essential Workers—Add Your Name

They harvested our food, stocked our shelves, cared for our elders, and kept our hospitals, farms, and factories running while much of the country was in lockdown. Immigrant essential workers are not only vital—they are heroic. But now, too many of them face the threat of deportation, despite the sacrifices they made to keep America going. President Trump has said he wants to protect immigrants working in essential sectors. LULAC hails Federal Court Victory preserving Birthright Citizenship in the United States

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) (July 10) celebrates a landmark decision by U.S. District Judge Joseph Laplante of New Hampshire, who issued a ruling blocking the Trump administration’s executive order seeking to strip automatic birthright citizenship from children born in the United States to undocumented parents. This decision marks a crucial victory for members of LULAC, the first organization to file a lawsuit challenging the administration’s attempt to undermine one of the most fundamental rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution.

Education Forward Arizona — Federal cuts to tribal college funding threaten Arizona’s progress

The proposed federal government funding cuts to tribal colleges across the country from $182 million in 2025 to $22 million in 2026 represent an approximate 90% reduction in funding. This poses a serious threat to their ability to serve students, in mostly rural areas across the country and in Arizona. Tribal colleges, established under the Tribally Controlled Community College Assistance Act of 1978, operate under treaty and trust obligations that guarantee inflation-adjusted funding based on enrollment. ...
