Northern Arizona groups planning to join ‘Good Trouble Lives On National Day of Action on July 17

John Lewis to participate in the Good Trouble Lives On National Day of Action. With MAGA Republicans continuing their ghoulish campaigns to terrorize communities, crush dissent, and tear families apart, it’s more important than ever that we stand up, speak out, and make some good trouble.

Indivisibles, The political landscape is changing, and we have to continue to change with it.  In the past, we’ve been able to lean directly on the power of the ballot box and the pressure we, as constituents, can bring to bear on our elected representatives. Whether it was saving the Affordable Care Act or kicking Trump out of office in 2020, we’ve proven that organizing on a local level to drive progress works -- and that is still true.  But the pressing threat of authoritarianism means that we have to include new strategies to protect the future of our democracy and our people. And that is why we are launching One Million Rising: a campaign to train one million people in the art of strategic non-cooperation to fight authoritarianism.

Yet while I still was ecstatic over the life-changing experience I had just concluded abroad, the Trump administration was increasing its efforts to target international students wanting to study in the U.S. International students are now increasingly prevented from having the same educational and personal opportunities that I, a U.S. citizen, had just been able to access.
