Hear from Indigenous STEM professionals and their perspectives on culturally relevant math, science, and STEM instruction, connections between their culture/identities, and their careers in STEM. Open to Indigenous youth, families, educators, and community members!

OIE released the Tribal Regalia Graduation Toolkit! ๐ŸŽ“On April 9, 2025, the AZ Office of Indian Education released the Tribal Regalia Graduation Toolkit for Students and Families. On April 17, we released the Tribal Regalia Graduation Toolkit for School/District Administrators & Governing Boards. These were developed in collaboration with tribal leaders, state leaders, community partners, and Indigenous families.

College Depot: Summer Bridge ProgramFirst time college freshmen can register now to receive one-on-one assistance with all the steps they need to take to start college in Fall 2025 such as signing up for Freshmen orientation, how to pay housing deposits, registering for classes, taking placement exams, and more! Appointments will be available in-person or virtually. Space is limited for this program: June 2-July 25, 2025. Visit events page to register today! 
Salt River Jr. ACE Program Free summer bridge program for 5th-8th grade students who are members of SRPMIC, attend SRPMIC schools, or are returning Jr. ACE students. Provides information on college experiences, STEAM activities, and cultural, language, health, and wellness experiences. ๐Ÿ“† June 2-12, 2025 at Scottsdale Community College View the flyer, and complete the interest form for more information. 
Join Student Advisory Panel!The AZ State Board of Education is accepting student applications until May 9, 2025. The purpose of the panel is to share student input and insight with the Board on requested topics, introduce students to the workings of state government related to education, and provide students with the opportunity to elevate key concerns and issues to the Board. Open to students who will be in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in the 25-26 school year. View the flyer for more information. 
๐Ÿ’ก Highlighted Scholarship – For current juniors! Applications are now open for the Class of 2026! The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a 4 year scholarship that covers full tuition, fees, and books at any accredited U.S. based college or university that the recipient chooses to attend. This will be awarded to fifteen exceptional students who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, community service, extracurricular activities, and academics. Visit website to view full eligibility requirements and application instructions. Family and Youth Scholarship – for Arizona IDEA ConferenceScholarship available to Arizona youth and young adults with disabilities and/or their family to attend the Arizona IDEA Conference on August 20-22, 2025 at the JW Mariott Desert Ridge, Phoenix, AZ. Scholarships cover registration fee, lodging, and mileage for eligible recipients. Tribal Leadership Academy for tribal leaders! Suited for newly elected or appointed tribal government leaders, including those who direct major tribal offices or divisions (including tribal education departments). Attendees will engage and experience faculty presenters on governance matters of vital importance to tribal nations. Travel and accommodations are provided. Applications are due May 16, 2025. Luce Indigenous Knowledge Fellowship 2026 accepting applications. Deadline: April 30, 2025Ten fellowships of $75,000 will be awarded to outstanding Native knowledge holders and knowledge makers engaged in meaningful work that benefits Native people and communities. The fellowship is a 2 year, self-directed program for individuals from diverse fields such as agriculture, youth leadership development, STEM, language revitalization, and more.
